New hardware wizard

I installed a lexmark 3150 printer following the instructions exactly. Now the hardware wizard keeps trying to insatall the printer that is already operating. Spent 3 1/2 hrs. on the phone with microsoft teck support with no luck. The printer works fine bot the wizard will not go away. Any way to disable? Any other ideas??
