After re-installing XP, Every time my puter boots, it
shows a "found new hardware" pop-up.......... 6 times!!!
The latest drivers for evey thing have been installed,
Device mangler shows no "!"'s and all is working ok.
Failing short of disabling "plug + Pray" in MSCONFIG,
i'm at a loss. The wizard recons there's a printer on the
go (like I say, 6 times) Alas, installing my printers
driver 6 times, & the pop-ups still appear!!!
The system is bog standard Athlon1800+ on a nVIVIA
based M/B with all updates & drivers installed. Full AV
scan shows clear............. HELP, any ideas much
apreciated. Dez
