Howard

I just got a Asrock 775VM800 Motherboard, P4 3Ghz 630 775 Socket & 512M
DDR400 Ram. Also I brought a new XBlade Silver ATX Super PC Case+Temp LCD
Control. I have a teathing problem.

The motherboard has a Chassis Fan connector. 3 pins labled GND, +12V,
CHA_FAN_SPEED. But cannot find any cabel/pug from XBlade case to connect to
the pins to monitor the chassis fan. Is there a fix for this problem?

The home page for the Xblade case is: http://www.a-top.com/main.html

I can't find in the doc on that site any mention of how to monitor the
chassis fan.

TIA.

That connector is for fans with the ability to increase ro decrease their
speed depending on the temperature inside the case. If your case fans
conenct directly to the power supply, then they stay on at full speed
constantly, which is better for overall cooling but increases noise.

If you want to use the multi-speed option, you would need to buy a new fan
for the case (make sure you get the correct size, as they come in 3 primary
sizes: 80mm, 92mm and 120mm).
