New Hardware Installation

I have a ThinkPad T42. I am using my cell phone (Samsung), (connected to a
USB port) and Data to Go Software to connect to the Internet.
It works fine, but every time I plug in the phone to a USB port I have to go
through the whole process of "New Hardware Installation" .
I have to install drivers and go through the configuration.

Is there any way to set it up, so next time I need to connect through the
cell phone it is recognized?

Hello Olja
First things first, I am assuming this is Windows XP. Did you try and
see if happens on another computer or is it just your computer? Also,
did you use the driver CD that came with your cell phone or you using
the one XP provided? Also, check to see if Device Manager shows the
device as malfunctioning (with the yellow exclamation mark next to it).
There are many other options to fix this so keep me posted. Thanks :D
