New hard Drive

I have installed a new hard drive in a old computer which I upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows Me then to XP. I would like to start of with just XP on the new drive. Will I have to load all three OS and then re-regester XP? Is there an easier way?
 
No need to install any of the old systems. Boot from the XP CD. It has all
the tools to partition, format and then install XP. Insert one of your old
Windows CD when prompted.
