I am running windows xp home. My system is on an old
hard drive that was originally running 98 and the updated
through ME and now XP. It still has a FAT32. I have a
second large disk with NTFS. I need to replace my old
system disk. I want to know if there is any way to
reload XP without having to load 98 first. My XP is an
upgrade.
Thanks in advance

Yes, just boot to the XP CD. Start the install. At some point it will say
that it can't find an Operating System and wants you to prove that you had
one to upgrade from. When it does, just put in a Windows 98 or ME CD as
instructed. It will check it and then have you put back in the XP CD and the
install will complete.
