Hi All, My dad had installed a New Hard Drive as a slave to his alread
40gb hard drive, The new hard drive is 120gb, the problem is that h
has conected it up as a slave with the jumpers, and rebooted th
computer, when he goes into My Computer the New drive is not there, bu
if he double clicks on the C: drive there is an icon for the new har
drive there, if he right clicks on it and goes to properties-general
it says that the drive is working properly, but he can't do anythin
with it eg: he cant store things in it etc, please if anyone can hel
me/him with this proplem i would be very greatful.
He has a Marple Tower unit, with Windows XP pro, and already has a 40g
hard drive, If you could tell us what needs to be done that would b
great.
Many Thanks in advanc

Go into disk management and then you can partition and format the drive
