I have installed a new larger slave hard drive to hold my mp3's and gaming
files. I want my music programs (Musicmatch and Itunes) to save the ripped
files to the new hard drive and not the old one. I keep deleting "My Music"
on the original c drive but of course it comes back and saves the music files
on the old drive not the new one. I have not found a way to tell either
program to save to the new slave drive when ripping. I can manually move the
files once ripped to the new drive but that seems redundant. HELP!!!!!! ( I
prefer to use the Musicmatch program over Itunes but I have an Ipod). Also I
have uninstalled Musicmatch several times and reinstalled it several times.
I did not install the Itunes until after I had installed the new hard drive.

Hi,

You can change the location of My Music to the new drive. You can use TweakUI for this purpose and
under TweakUI, navigate to My Computer > My Music and hit change location. Enter the new location
and you are done.

Download TweakUI from:

dude, you are trying to hard.
within music match (somewhere) is a setting for 'destination' or something
like that.

another option would be to get "x-setup" (try google) and use it to change
the location of the 'my music' folder... maybe? but I think your best bet is
to tell each program where to put the files before hand.
