New Google Maps (Beta)

It gave reasonable-seeming driving directions from where I live to where
I grew up.

However, it couldn't give me driving directions to Honolulu.

Gives driving directions to Montreal (from Minneapolis). But not for
Mexican cities.

For now, Google only has the US in its database, IIRC. There are
good alternatives however:

http://www.mappy.com/

I especially like map24, since its interface is a very cool example
of good Java use...

It had no trouble finding my address, but, a search for the Billings Bridge
Plaza , Ottawa, Ontario, Canada took me to a railroad in Billings Montana.
