New Freeware Anti-Virus Program

Hmm... let me think about this... Would I be interested in downloading,
installing and trusting anti-virus software from a spammer, posing to be an
"unrelated third-party", who doesn't even dare to put his domain name in the
link in his spam?

Uhhhh... maybe not.

I agree for the most part here.

I dislike and distrust the fact that Bartware posts an advert for
his/her product, without making it clear that this is advertising

"has anyone tried...." he/she said - should have been more honest

I also dislike the disclaimer - but it reads to me as amateurish,
rather than a license for spyware.

I would not be surprised if Bartware is dodgy for these reasons, but
have you any evidence that their firewall or AV product introduces
spyware ?
