I have seen quite a few fonts on the net that I really like and would like to
download and incorporate them into WMM. Can anyone kindly give me a step by
step walk through on how to do this?
Also, is there an easy way to lose some of the old fonts that are absolutely
never gonna be used?
Thanks again guy and gals!

Have a look at the following article;
(314960) HOW TO: Install or Remove a Font
in Windows
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314960

Any font that you add to your Fonts folder
should be available in MovieMaker.

Here's a good link for freebies:
http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free-fonts-a4.html

There are also Usenet newsgroups devoted to fonts.
is a good place to post images
of fonts you would like to have identified. Frequently,
the font itself will be posted along with the identification.

And is a source of hundreds
of fonts per day. Beware of major distraction and
becoming a fontaholic. :-)

Both good links provided.
You do realize that the fonts used in WMM are simply the ones that are
installed in windows don't you?
Meaning installing and/or deleting is as simple as dragging font files to
your /windows/fonts directory and/or deleting them from that directory. When
dragging them in they are installed automatically and likewise with deleting
them.

AH HA!!!!
Thanks again guys! That was actually easier than I had expected it to be!
ROCK ON!!

If you get too many, you might want to use a font commander like The Font
Thing. Every time you reboot the pc, Windows must read all the fonts you
have installed. That can slow boot time. A font commander like The Font
Thing, allows you to keep your font collection in a separate folder and load
them only when you want to use them. And its FREE! LOL

This is coming from the girl who once had over a thousand fonts on her pc.
Yeah, I know, it's over kill. What can I say? LOL

That is true still to some extent. Older versions of Windows were slowed
significantly by having too many fonts installed. Windows XP not so much but
what Rach says is still true, it may slow the boot time down a bit if you
have a ton of fonts installed.
