I just purchased a SanDish 4GB Flash Drive. When I put it in the USB drive a
box comes up saying it needs a driver. I called SanDisk and they had me get
patch #KB937187. I got it from Microsoft but the flash drive still is not
recognized as a USB device. Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this?
thank you

Sometimes with Flash drives you can ignore the message. See if the drive
appears with a letter assigned, use it normally, disconnect it and the next
time it will be ok. Actually it operated with the native Vista or XP
driver. When I go to large meetings and everyone passes around their own
flash drive, this is what happens. Everyone's drive comes up with error
messages and then things settle down.

I went to My Computer and the device is not there. It shows as an unknown
device.
