Hi

I have a user who's emails aren't automatically showing in his inbox until
he clicks on another folder first?? Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Thanks
Andy

Type of account?

Hi Brian

It's just a general Windows 2000 account created in Active Directory on a
Windows 2000 server??

Thanks
Andy

I meant what type of mail account? POP/SMTP, Exchange, IMAP or HTTP?

Hi Brian

Sorry, forgot to mention that it's an Exchange 2000 account using SMTP

Thanks
Andy

Huh? It's either an Exchange account or it's a POP/SMTP or IMAP/SMTP
account. It can't be "an Exchange account using SMTP". Please click
Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and read what type of account you're using.

Well its an Exchange 2000 account then

Thanks for Brian, it only happens for this one user out of 70?? Would it not
happen to everyone?

It looks like it's his Windows firewall, it's got the same ports open as the
other PC's in the network though?

Hi

I've added Outlook.exe as an exception in his Windows Firewall and that
seems to go through fine now.

Thanks
Andy

Not necessarily, since the firewall settings are PC-specific.
