Hello Everyone.

When trying to create a new email using OWA, nothing happens, i.e. when
clicking on "New" icon at the toolbar this does not create an new email. The
small arrow on the right of "New" does not open the list. The way I can
create an email is by using "Ctrl + N" twice. Similarly, the icon "Delete"
(the red X) is not functionning either. But I can delete when I right click
on any email email. This is still working.

Any idea as to how I can repair this ?

Thanks

Best

Hello,

You might try checking your "pup-up blocker." Functions like "reply" open a
new window IE considers a "pop-up." Just add the OQA site to the list, or
turn it off.

Second, in the Interenet Security settings for IE, be sure to enable ActiveX
controls, since OWA is built with ActiveX.

Hello Best,

Thank you for posting.

First, thanks to everyone who gave their good suggestions here. Please
have a try and let us know the result.

In addition, I suggest you perform some tests to confirm the following
things:
1. In order to confirm if this is a server side issue, please logon to OWA
on several client machines and test again.
2. Did you install any IE related applications on the client machine?

If the problem occurs only on one or more specific client machines, please
try these steps:
1. Perform a clean boot.
For the details, please refer to the following KB article:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=310353

2. Reset IE.
a. Delete the cookies
- Click Start, click Search and click For Files or Folders
- Type "Cookies" (without the quotation marks) and click Search Now
- Delete files in the cookie directory

b. Delete all the temporary files
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools, click Internet Options and click Delete Files button in the
General tab

c. Disable all third party Add-ons
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools to select Manage Add-ons
- Disable all third party Add-ons

d. Reset IE settings
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools, click Internet Options
- Under the Advanced tab, click Restore Defaults button

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know.
