New Email notifier

When I am working in another program, I will get the email box notification come up saying you have a new email, do you want to read it now? When I click on "Yes," I get a message that says it has been moved or deleted. When I go into Outlook, there is no new email message, nor is the message in my deleted folder.
 
Exchange mailbox? Are you the only one accessing it? Could it been deleted
by a rule or spam-filter you are running?
