New E-Mail Notification Envelope in Tray

How do you "Always Hide" the new mail notification envelope in the Taskbar
Tray? I know this is easily accomplished in XP, but I have been unable to
locate this option in Win2K. Thanks.

I should have specified earlier... we aren't using Outlook, but it is
installed on the computer (Win2K/Outlook 2K).

It's part of your mail client, not Windows. What version of Outlook
or OE do ou have?
