Hello!

Since I installed the newest N-force 3.13 drivers, my writer (LGE 8520B -
52x - secondary slave) isn't recognised anymore in Alcohol 120%.
I have the A7N8X Rev 2.0 Deluxe, bios 1007.
Any advice, tips on this?

Thanks!

Uninstall the 3.13, reboot and install 2.45. Thats what I had to do.

Hello!

Just did some research myself on the Alcohol Software forum. This is a known
problem and will be solved within the new Alcohol 120% version! (I have this
from an Alcohol soft forum mod)

Kind regards,

It stops InCD working (on my PC anyway) as well, I think the problem
is a bit more deep seated than just affecting Alcohol.

Isn't this a problem directly atributed to the nForce IDE drivers?
Since installing them with the last two versions of the unified
drivers, NTI CD-Maker cannot "see" my two CD-RWs, a Verbatim and a
Lite-On.

Reinstall the 3.13s without SW IDE drivers.

The old ones caused problems with CD Burning SW, the new ones might also.
Or, as mentioned, you could try the latest version of Alcohol.

I use NTI CD-maker (the cheapie version included with the drive) with
my Liteon 16x/10x/??x CDR/w and it worked fine just yesterday to dupe
an audio CD and I recently installed the nForce IDE driver package. I
was a bit disappointed with the audio extraction speed of my Toshiba
48x cdrom drive (dupe took about 12 mins). Normally, a data CD copy
takes about 4-5 mins for a substantially full data CD.
