Hello,

Using Word 2007.

When I open up for a new document, I get a blank document that seems to
take up only about 1/3 of the page's width.

There is about 1/3 of blue portion on each side of the white area where
one would do the actual typing.

Everything seems very small. The ruler, though, across the top of the
document is calibrated correctly for the margins I want, and apparently
the document's width.

Previously, the document took up the whole page, which is what I want.

What has apparently happened ?

How do iget it back to what I would like ?

Thanks,
Bob

What is the Zoom setting? At the right end of the status bar there is a Zoom
slider. By default, it's set in the middle, at 100%. If you reduce it below
100%, then of course the page will take up less of the space. If you want it
to take up more of the space, you can set it higher than 100%.

Hi,

Yup, that was the problem.
Sure is a lot to know.

As always, thank you for the help; much appreciated.
