New desktop/laptop

Hey guys

I'm looking to buy a new desktop or laptop.

I want;
Processor: AMD 64 3200+/Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better

Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better

Quite abit of RAM

Large-ish hard-drive

Will use it mostly for gaming

Price, nothing super high but a reasonable price for what I want

Want any more info just give us a shout

Wow those specs are for an ancient pc you'll be paying a premium price for an antique. Try something a little more modern, it won't have that nostalgia value but you will be able to play a lot of modern games. Nearly all of them if you upgrade the graphics card.

That is a serious lot of loot. Is it for the pc alone, or pc + monitor + keyboard and mouse ?

Any preferences , Intel , AMD, Nvidia , ATI or do we get free choice ?

Yeh its less than £1000 for pc + monitor + keyboard and mouse, but keyboard and mouse I can get easyily nywhere eles
