new dell graphics

this may sounded stupid but iv only got a laptop in my house, and i use it for gaming, or try to.

iv got a dell inspiron 1300 nd i want to play games like "farcry" and "house of the dead 3" but the graphics are rubbish is there any way i can 'upgrade' my graphics or graphics card???

please help i feel like a right muppet!
 
If I remember correctly the 1300 only has an integrated graphics card, so it isn't possible to upgrade it. The intel onboard graphics are fine for any non-gamer, but are useless with any modern games unfortunately.
 
Ian does the 1300 not have a AGP port?

Maybe a spare PCI slot :o although PCI is very dated now to say the least!!
 
It's a laptop TD :D ;) Some laptops do have a slot that enables you to upgrade the graphics card though (I think the 6000 series do, and the other high end ones).
