I got a new crash in Access today, when I was switching between an ADP and
Enterprise Manager.

I have had extensive problems with swithcing between Enterprise Manager or
Query Analyzer and ADP.

AppName: msaccess.exe AppVer: 10.0.6501.0 ModName: ntdll.dll

ModVer: 5.0.2195.6899 Offset: 00008216

It seems that SQL Server's Enterprise Manager has some problems with objects
created in Access Project or Visual Studio.NET, namely the Diagram. If you
create a diagram in Enterprise Manager, when try to open it in Access
project/VS.NET Sever Explorer, Access/VS.NET will crash. If you create
Diagram in Access project/VS.NET Sverver Explorer and try to open it in
Enterprise Manager, EM does not crash, but the diagram does not show.

So, now what?

uh we get Microsoft to fix this 3 years ago and they keep us as customers.

as it is-- they just accept mediocrity like this

and we go somewhere else.

Like Oracle Forms.. Or Dreamweaver.. or WebSphere.

We just don't need to accept this level of mediocrity.

Microsoft has abused developers by not maintaining the ADP platform. ADP is
the only way that Access has a future.

And Microsoft won't fix bugs in ADP.
