New CPU

Will Windows need to be re-installed after the
installation of a new CPU? I want to get a new
motherboard, so I'm going to start over and re-install,
but I don't have the money right now to get a new CPU as
well, so I'm going to get that in a few months (The one I
have currently is compatable with the new motherboard).
Anyhoo... I don't want to reinstall now, get everything
back to the way I wanted, then reinstall again when I get
a new CPU... so will Windows be OK being installed on a
system when I change the CPU?

Likely - if all you change after this re-install is the CPU - nothing will
need to be redone. Worst case - you might have to do a repair
installation - but that is not really a "from scratch" deal.
 
It is possible that if you are using an OEM version of Windows you might
have a problem.
