CopyLock is a small program that allows replacing, moving, renaming or
deleting one or many files which are currently in use (e.g. system files
like comctl32.dll, or virus/trojan files.)

Add the files to update, click Apply, restart and that's it!

You can also list and edit the pending operations from the system after
you ran an installer or view the processes which use the locked files.

Disclaimer: you can crash your system or make it unbootable if you are
not careful, use at your own risk.

There has been numerous activity on this already. There are a number of
failed attempts at an online database. STAMPCATalog at www.stampcat.com
has databases for some countries at its website. STAMPCAT is another
inventory program (costs a donation to your favorite charity). The
databases are in dbf format so anyone can use the info.

Just to add to this comment - if you use any of these databases with the
program you can export them to dbf (clear English field names) or csv (text)
format for your own use.
I also invite you to join the Philatelic Computing Study Group
(http://www.pcsg.org). The group's new president has been a proponent
of such activities and any volunteer efforts are needed. Ray was
involved in a study on a format for a universal database format.

A nice online database is at www.stampmad.com comprised of Australian
material.

Editor, The Compulatelist
PCSG

The PCSG is devoted to computer and technology uses for stamp collecting.
If anyone is interested, the group did a study years ago relating to this
subject and produced a draft report. This report contains a brief history
of the efforts previously made and a preliminary but complete on-line
database distribution system with a catalog numbering system, database
design specifications and diagrams. If you are interested send me an email
at presidentATpcsg.org (change AT to @).
