New contact card freezes as it saves & closes

I have just had to reinstall my Outlook and Business Contact Manager due to a
hard drive failure. I have Outlook 2003. I have managed to recover my BCM
files, updating the Outlook 2003 with the BCMV2UPD file from ages ago so that
it would function. However when I add a new contact on the Business Contacts
directory, I can save it okay but if I click 'save & close' the screen
freezes and I have to reboot. Do I need to download another update? I have
already had the system checked by the Microsoft automatic checker.

Hi Charente,

Can you go to the Microsoft Update site and check for BCM V2 updates?
If that does not answer your question, just try configuring BCM on a new
Outlook profile to see if that solves the problem.
