I built an A7N8X-e Deluxe system last week with an XP 2600, and two 512 MB
PC3200 DDR Mushkin sticks, that runs XP Pro. Works well. The XP 3200 Barton
processor is approved for this mobo, so you should be fine.
Make sure you put the memory sticks in the correct slots for dual channel
mode. I used slots A1 and B1.
I'm a newb when it comes to building systems, but why would someone buy a
A7N8X-e (nForce3 technology IIRC) when the A8N-E (based on nForce4) is
available?
Is it because the A7N is more stable than one would expect a new release to
be?
"Is it because the A7N is more stable than one would" exactly
