On my previous computer Xp home Sp2 my Ie6 sp2 would not allow any links at
http://www.thestar.com . Today a brand new computer with all requirements
installed at the shop and before it left the bench I asked the vendor to go
to this site and use a link. IE6 immediately shut down. His own machine
would access that site without any problem.
The only items that were transferred into the new installation were my
Outlook Express settings and address book. The antivirus and spyware were
new installs by the vendor before hooking to the internet.
This condition has existed ever since the last security updates.
Very strange!

Discovery tonight is that if I right click on a link and use 'Open in a New
Window' the links now appear and the IE browser does not shut down.
It may be a 'one time' thing or it may be the 'work around' <lol>
