I have a new computer, but it takes forever for my web
pages to load. Are there any settings I can adjust? Any
suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

I have the same problem. I am running IE 6.0 on a Windows XP Pro operating system, 733 MHz PIII, 256MB RAM, 80GB hard drive. However, two other computers in my house using same router load web pages much faster! These two computers use Windows 98SE and have 128MB or less

What gives?

Jan,
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
