I posted a message recently and haven't seen a reply,
actually I don't even see my original post anywhere. Did I
do something wrong??? Anyway, I'm goin FROM Windows98 and
MS Word to WindowsNT and Word 2003.
First question is, will I be able to just use a null cable
or file exchange program to transfer all my master
documents, etc. from old system to new system or is there
a difference in filing systems.
Second question is how can I get my Word dictionary,
autocorrect, autotext, etc. that have been built over the
last several years moved from old system to new system?
Anybody with any ideas, suggestions, comments, do's or
dont's, please leave a message here and email me at
(e-mail address removed). I've got to get this taken care of this
weekend, hopefully, and would like to do it the easiest
but most secure and proper way possible. (And, pleeeezzzzz
don't say I have to recreate everything --- current files
have been made over the last 3 to 7 years, I'd never be
able to remember all that stuff to recreate it!! heavy
sigh).
Thanks, in advance
Nancy
