Seems the boys from Cisco think they have a couple of good courses to try if your really interested in IT. Both from Cisco, IT Essentials 1 covers the basics of PC's & IT Essentials 2 covers Unix & Servers, both new from Cisco and seems may be the way to go (well if you want to go down the CCNA route!)

Yeah i'm just about to do a cisco course through work ....nothing to do with these courses though...

Although every little helps....

Im actually doing them! started in sep last year, the marking board is Ipro or somthing, and its the IT essentials 1. im doing the cisco course in college, yep we do the lvl 2 version which is new (level 3 out this year hopfully!) which is all about pcs (like windows and such), alot of it is reading from the cisco site but includes everything from how pc's first came about, servers, the net, all hardware and troubleshooting systems and looking through xp/2000/98/95 in detail. For a level 2 its really pretty decent, and i got my final exam tomorrow ;) passed the mid term with 79% and little revision, so wish me luck!

Lookin at doin the CCNA when i finish of MCSE.

Or i could just get a life!

Nah!

With MCSE you may not need to do CCNA unless you really want to do Cisco networking. I have worked with IT techies who think doing Server+ & Network+ give you a better understanding of networks, Cisco really only show you their own systems.
