Not wider, taller. But 1280x1024 is a 5x4 ratio resolution and will make everything appear wider than it
actually is.
Instead, go to 1280x960 to get back a proper 4x3 ratio and I think you'll be happier

If the new drivers do not work with KOTOR2, which ones will work fine with
the game?

Anyone run a 3D Mark or Counter Strike source video stress to see any
performance gains? Word on the street was that Half-Life 2 took a
performance hit with 5.2. Dont see a real need to upgrade if everything is
working fine.

Shit game anyway.

Given ATI list it as an unresolved issue in their release notes it would
appear that it is a driver issue.

Alright, I got the game and have had really bad framerate on
Dantooine.
copying the atioglxx.dll file from the Catalyst KOTOR hotfix
drivers
(Catalyst 4.11 beta) into the game directory seems to have
resolved the
problem, though.
