New Catalyst Control Centre + Older Cards

Hi

Does anyone know if there are plans to extend support of this new Control
Centre to the older line of cards.

I've had no reason to upgrade to a new generation card and if ATI are slowly
dropping support for my 8500, then it's bye bye ATI for me.
 
Well, I've just installed the new "Control Center", but I must say I liked
the "old" control panel better.
I don't think there's any functionality in the "Control Center" that wasn't
in the "Control Panel".

I don't think you are missing much.
