Just wondering if anyone knows if there are new models on the way , and if
so , what features are likely to be included ?
There seem to be great deals on end on line units at the moment. A friend
just got the MP 150 AIO for $99 $CDN .....duplex printing and all !
Nice machine...

Canada might have different models, but it's still a good time buy in
August.

The mp150 is among those that take head on the cartridge type. Higher
cost per page, but depending on your volume may not be an issue.

The mp520 on the other hand takes the same ink tanks as higher end
models, so cost per page would be lower. Printing is on par with the
i850/ip3000/ip3300, and perhaps the newer ip3500. The resolution is
not as high as the current generation ip4300/ip4500, and as it don't
offer a dye black use of matte paper unless you select plain paper
mode will end up being soggy if you have lots of black as it mixes the
colors to make black on anything but the plain paper setting.

there is the new MX class, which I believe is their office
designation, The mp300/310 (no doc feeder/doc feeder) both use the
head on the cartridge. The MX700 does not, which again is in the same
printing class as the ip3000/ip3300.

A ton of new models, but without knowing your needs it's hard to point
them out. I only refered to the lower end of the mp/mx series which
offer ink tanks.

Another thing to consider is the weak American dollar. I picked up
the mp830 for about $200 usd (CDN $211), something i'm sure is over
CDN $350.
