This looks like a decent printer and I've located a source at $50. Any
naysayers before I plunk down my hard earned cash?

Depending on your printing habits, thei 400 line and under use one
colour cart, the i500 and above use individual colour carts, and can
be cheaper to run, WRT to ink costs (you will not have to trash a
whole colour cart for one of the colours being low, nor can you
monitor individual the level of individual colours.)

I agree.

I've had the i560 for a month or so, and for the money, it's a very nice
little printer. The software that comes with it is nice, too, and it will
take parallel and USB connections. But the best thing about it is that it
uses individual ink cartridges that go for about $11 each.

My Costco has it for $89.

I went for the i560...very nice printer!
