Hello

I began trying to learn Windows programming with Visual Studio (VC++) about
two years ago with VS 6. I bought a couple of books from which to learn.
Last year, I bought VS .Net (2002) but I was still using the VS 6 books to
learn, therefore not taking advantage of any new features of the .Net
product. Now, I'm interested in learning the new features of the .Net
software but I'm having difficulty in finding a good book from which to
learn. I'm interested in an intermediate level book. I don't want any '...in
21 Days' type books but nothing so high-level that you have to work at
Microsoft to understand. I usually try to read reviews of various book at
Amazon.com but I haven't found anything that looks suitable. Does anyone
have any suggestions for a learning text for Windows programming using
Visual C++ .Net?

TIA

Using Visual C++ .NET Special edition by Kate Gregory is probably a good one
to start with.

Ted.
