New BCM

Anybody know when the next release of BCM is expected. The
functionality just doesn't seem to be there in this release. Hoping for
a much better product next go round.
Are there any beta release of the next version?

The beta for v2 was released last year. It should be generally
available this year, but I don't know the date.
 
Do you know if i will be an update to existing users or will it be with a
new version of outlook?
 
I don't know about distribution and pricing, but BCM v2 runs in the
current version of Outlook (Office 2003).
