Jim,
The wizard should have created a new shortcut to your secure database on the
desktop. You need to join the default system.mdw workgroup file for your
unsecure databases and use the new shortcut for your secure database. Then
you should not get the prompt for any databases except for the secure one.

Hi,

I am new at setting up security for Access databases. I
have a database that only has 2 users, one who has full
access and one who only should have read access.

I tried to use the access security wizard and somehow
ended up making access lock me out of everything. It
would prompt me for a username/password regardless of
which database I try to open.

I was hoping someone here could explain the process of
securing a database for one user with full access and one
user with read only access. It would be great if someone
could give a real simple tutorial or point me to someplace
on the web where I can learn how to set this up.

Much thanks!
