new appointments cannot be saved

Hi,

Since last week I suddenly have some problems with Outlook Calendar.
If I enter a new appointment and click 'save' nothing happens. It coul
be related to another Outlook proble that occurred in the same time. I
had to use the inbox repair tool as all of a sudden my Outlook files
seemed to be inaccesible. I could see them in the folder, though
clicking returned an error stating 'remote files cannot be displayed
here...' and I'm working on a stand-alone laptop!

What could I do to solve this??
