Hi!
Background:
I have to puch the address book of the whole company to every user (on
different machines) at regular interval, the only efficient way to do this
we found is by VBScript.

Problem:
I currently add every names in a sub folder in Contact (French Version) to
distinct them from personnal address book, but the folder is not in the
AddressLists list, and therefore the addresses aren't found when entered in
the To field.

What I seek:
Is there a way I can add a newly created contact folder to the AddressLists
?

I'm using Outlook 2000

Thanks

To make a new Contacts folder available in the address book do the
following:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Right click on the new Contacts folder and Select Properties.
3. Select the Outlook Address Book tab and select "Show this folder as an
e-mail Address book".
4. Click OK to close.

Now the folder should show up in the address book.

I hope this information is helpful.

Not in Outlook 2000. Outlook 2002 is the first version with a MAPIFolder
property you can set to expose a contacts folder as part of the Outlook
address book.
