For some reason, new accounts created cannot log on to
the domain but old accounts can log on without any
problems.
Please help!!

Check that your replication is working. See your event log for more info.

Hi Andy-

My first inclination is to ask if these accounts have been marked ENABLED.
Also what error messages can you provide as well as details of your
infrastructure.

Hi Richard,
Just a small network with one domain controller running
active directory.
Yes the accounts are enabled.
The old accounts will work fine but if i try to rename
the account than it won't work.
Try to give admin rights to new account but still don't
work.

Well aparently you have one domain controller :-). Have you tried to logon
using UPN instead of SAM notation. UPN is when you write
username@yourdomainname instead of username in logon dialog box. What error
do you get ? Do you see any errors in Event log ?

It's any computer that tries to log on with a new account
that causing the problem, the only problem that i see in
event viewer has to do with DHCP, that's about it.
