If I set up a new User Account with Limited Priv. , I find that I cannot log
onto some websites that require a user name and password. What am I missing.
Thanks in advance for your reply

This newusers won't let me ask a question, but I can post a reply. What am I
missing? Sorry, Meltel.

The question I wanted to ask is how do I get rid of a user account? I press
"DELETE" but all I get is the hourg;ass.

In Outlook Express go to Tools | Accounts | Add (or New) | News.
Set up an account for this news server:

msnews.microsoft.com

The server is free and does not require you to logon. This news server
carries over 2200 newsgroups related to Microsoft products and keeps
messages at least 30 days.

I don't have Outlook Express on this computer as I am using AOL. I have a
screen name on a Verizon.net account where I suppose I can install Outlook
Express. I did already install Outlook on it, but I don't know if that would
help me. I can try it.

Go to Start | Run and type

msimn.exe

Part of the reason you're having such problems is that you are using the web
interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest, most
error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader,
such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See

If you are running Windows XP, you have Outlook Express, since Outlook
Express is part of Windows.

I'm not sure, though, whether you can use Outlook Express with your AOL
account. However, I'm sure that AOL has its own similar newsreader built
into it.
