Hello all
I've now ordered the following components for an A64 based system: -
A64 'Winchester' 3200+ (Retail)
DFI nforce 4 SLi mobo (would like the option of SLi)
Leadtek 6600GT DDR3 PCI-E
Maxtor Diamond Max 250GB SATA HDD
I'll be using the following components from my old system: -
Coolermaster 'Wavemaster' ATX case
2 x 512 PC3200 DIMMS
Seagate IDE 120 GB HDD
Hauppauge PCI TV card
3 x 92 mm fans
Antec TruPower 430 Watt PSU
I would like to try overclocking but apart from the, relatively, slow RAM is
the Antec PSU up to the job of providing sufficient power for the above
system?
I only ask as I've just read the following thread
http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=355145 which slates Antec PSU's and
recommends OCZ PSU's (surprise, surprise if I didn't find another forum
which dissed OCZ PSU's!!).
I know its not just a case of 'more watts is always better' but its all
getting a bit confusing!!
TIA
