New 3.5" External Enclosure

I brought a new 3.5" External Enclosure 120 g, but I can't store
anything on it, because I can't find it on the computer. I got the
dick, so what do I need to do? Please help

Seriously, give details of the external disk enclosure, your motherboard and
OS.

You just need to partition and format it, then it will show up.

If its XP you do that in disk management.
I got the dick, so what do I need to do? Please help

I don't have XP, but I think that it's either Programs -> Administrative
Tools -> Computer Management -> disk management or Settings -> Control
Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> disk
management...

Once in disk management, you should see the drive. Right click then
select format.
 
Start->Run diskmgmt.msc
