He run's some interesting companies, that's for sure.

I know they have implantable technology for pain control, Parkinsons, etc... but what sort of things is he aiming for with this company? Sounds interesting, but I don't think I'll sign up as a beta-tester .

CYLONS!

In all seriousness though, this looks very interesting. I wonder what applications it would have in medicine? ie Fixing problems with the brain. I'd certainly be interesting in some upgrades :thumb:

Friend of mine has two electrodes in his brain which have improved his Parkinson's Disease no end. I do believe he was one of the first group in the UK to have this procedure quite a number of years ago, Before the electrodes he had to take about 20 pills a day and was deteriorating very fast but this has made a huge difference. :)

Let's hope there are more applications.

I've seen videos of Parkinson's Disease symptoms before and after those things are switched on - it's incredible what they are able to achieve. I'm very pleased to hear your friend has benefited from this! I've also heard that smoking pot can have a similar effect too

It would be interesting to hear what the practical implications of this could be - could we get to the stage where we can switch off depression? Imagine the possibilities...
