My XP home is part of workgroup.Suddenly, my computer name
and workgroup names got changed on XP Home. I was able to
resolve this issue. Now the computer could not be accessed
from other PC's.

1) When I checked my Local-Area Network connection
properties, I got the error msg "An Unexpected error
Occurred". Did everything suggested in KB 824923, but no
help.

2) Tried to repair the network connection. Got an error
msg "Unable to Purge the DNS Resolver Cache". KB 289256
describes the steps. Noticed ipconfig /renew and
ipconfig /flushdns didnot work.

3) Tried to uninstall the card thru Device Mgr. Got an
error msg stating can't uninstall since this device is
needed to boot the computer. (Not the exact wordings)

4) Then tried to reinstall the drivers. Got an error
msg "An error occured during the installation of the
device. The specified module could not be found"

Now I donot have network or internet or LAN.
