Sorry if this is off topic!
Do you know which news group discuss computer network (small
scale/home network). DO you know a simple/entry level tutorial explain
the basic of computer network? I really appreciate your help in
advance. Thanks a lot

PS: I used to have outlook express and I was able to search for any
newsgroup using a keyword. Now I do not have my own internet access so
I can only use google.com to access newsgroupd and I do not know how
to search for a newsgroup using a keyword. that is why I am asking for
a help here.

Check comp.dcom.ethernet and comp.dcom.cabling , and other groups in
the comp.dcom hierarchy.
