Hi Cee,
Enable ICS on the XP machine. It needs two nics, one to the cable modem and one to a hub.
Plug the 2000 machine into the hub and set it for obtaining an IP address automatically, which
it will from ICS on the XP machine. You can find excellent how to for setting up ICS (Internet
Connection Sharing) in the Help menu of XP.
