Networking XP using workgroups

I recently took over support for a group of clients that
have been connected to the internet directly, but the
internal network for file and printer sharing is setup to
where they all join one of several workgroups. The
problem I am having is that in one small group I have two
computers that need to share a printer, which is diretly
connected to one of the two computers. Normally this
would not be a problem, as it is fairly easy to share a
printer on the network. However, in this case the
computer with the printer on it seems to be able to see
the workgroup, but it cannot seem to see any other
computers on the workgroup. It is almost as if the
computer is not really joining the workgroup at all,
though it is onnected through the same switch, where it
connects to the internet just fine. Any suggestions?
The computers are running Windows XP Pro and have all of
the latest critical updates.

What is the IP address of the computers that can see
eachother and the ip address of the computer that can't
see anyone else? Also check subnet masks.

Using these IP addresses, can they ping eachother from the
command line?
