Networking XP Pro and XP Home

I have a laptop computer (xp pro) that is assigned to a
domain at my office. Is it possible to network it with
my home computer (xp home)? I can not work it out, any
help would be appreciated.
 
There is a lot that goes with networking. i am assuming you have a hub or router that assigns IP
if so make sure that laptop and home are on same workgroup! this should enable you to browse
your network to your laptop! if not check the ip address of work computer, once you have the address you ca
go to your unc line and type \\000.000.000.000 zero's being your ip address. At this point you should be able to
see your shared files after it gives you a logon screen. when you get that logon screen you will have to use your works
user name and password
