Networking with Vista

I am unable to network a laptop (wireless) running Vista with an already
existing XP network (one desktop-wired and one laptop-wireless).

Help!

The vista laptop now reads the xp machines but not vice-versa. Also am
unable to add the xp network printer to the vista laptop.
