Networking Windows XP, and Windows 98 SE questions?

How do you network a Windows XP, and a Windows 98 SE?.....
I do not have the XP disk, the computers are connected
through a networking cable which is connected to both
computers...... please tell me how to do this???????????
 
We all have the same problem. Please see my replies to "George" and "Larry"
above. If you have any luck, let us know.
